Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, who processes it, and how to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

Effective September 2026. This policy covers coldstreamrealestate.ca, operated by Sean Phillips, REALTOR®, Coldwell Banker Executives Realty, Vernon, BC. We follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
Only what you choose to send through a form on this site:
- Listing alerts: name, email, optional phone, price range, property type and timeline.
- Home value requests: property address or area, property type, timing, name, email, optional phone and any notes.
- Buyer's Field Notes requests: first name and email.
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone, interest and your message.
The calculators, quiz and comparison tool run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored.
This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request: set up and send listing alerts, prepare a price opinion, send the guide you asked for, or answer your question, and to follow up with you about real estate. By submitting a form you consent to this use. We don't sell or rent your information.
Who processes it
Forms are delivered by Formspree, a form-processing service that forwards submissions to Sean by email. Formspree stores submissions on its servers, which may be outside Canada, including in the United States, where they may be subject to local laws. See Formspree's privacy policy. Sean may also keep your details in his email and customer records, and your brokerage file if you become a client, as required by BC real estate regulations.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to serve you and meet legal and brokerage record-keeping obligations. Ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will, and you can unsubscribe from any alert email.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. Email chaletsean@gmail.com or call 778-363-0542. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
